Superbikes World Championships GP Silverstone Great Britain Live

In the Superbikes World Championships this week, the GP Silverstone in Great Britain will be held. This event will be the tenth round of the series and the date is August 5^th. There are just four races left to go after this one, the next in Moscow on the 25^th of August. Then, in September, the series will be playing in Nurburgring on the 9^th and at Portimao on the 23^rd. After that, on October 7^th, the final race of the year will be held in Magny Cours, France. Some of the previous venues so far have included Assen and Imola as well as the very first race at Phillip Island.

The most recent race on the calendar was the one at Brno, Czech Republic. It was held on July 22^nd and Carlos Checa came in first with Ducati, while Max Biaggi with Aprilia was in second. Ben Spies came in third and Troy Bayliss was fourth. In the standings right now, Maxi Biaggi leads with 271.5 points. Marco Melandri comes in second with 250.5 and then Tom Sykes has 212.5 Carlos Checa is in fourth right now with 204.5 and Jonathan Rea on Honda is in fifth with 187. Other drivers in the top ten include Sylvain Guintoli and Leon Haslam.
