The SuperBikes World Championship is set to begin this week, with a race in Australia on Phillip Island, on the 23th of February. That event will start us off on the great season ahead of us for the Superbikes, one of the most exciting racing series in all of motorsports. The next event on the calender will be the April 14th event in Aragon, and then Assen will be the venue for the third race, which is set to be held on the 28th of February. Monza will be the fourth race location, and it happens on the 12th of May.
The race will start off on Friday, the 22nd of February, with the free practice at 11:45 and the qualifying at 15:30. Saturday, there will be a qualifying practice once again at 09:45 and then a free practice at 12:30. Then, there are three Superpole races. The actual races will happen on Sunday, the 24th, with the warmup at 9:20 and then race number one at 12:00 and race two at 15:30. The driver's standings sees Max Biaggi in the top spot for Aprilia, followed by Tom Sykes in second and Marco Melandri in third place. Aprilia won the manufacturer championship, followed by BMW.
