We are playing the final of the Elite League Speedway this week, a tournament that was supposed to be held last week, but got posted because of the weather. This event is the first leg of the Elite League Speedway Grand Final. The semifinal ended with Poole at 47 and Lakeside at 43, and then next week, 35 for Birmingham and 55 for Swindon. The final will be between Swindon and Poole since they ended with aggregate scores of 110 and 108 respectively after the second leg. The first leg will be October 15th with the second leg October 17th.

Right now, the table has Poole in the top spot in the Elite League Standings, with 72 points at the moment. Swindon takes the second spot with 70 points, and those two are miles away from everyone else on the table. The closest to them are Birmingham and Lakeside, who each have 44 points and then Eastbourne comes in at fifth with 42 points, and Peterborough is tied with them. King's Lynn has 36 and Coventry is in eighth with 32. Wolverhampton and Belle Vue takes the bottom two spots with 15 and 31.

In the Elite League Speedway this week, the Swindon Robins and the Poole Pirates face off at Abbey Stadium. Last time these two teams met, it was the Pirates who took the game. Swindon has never won an Elite League Championship but they were British League Champions one time, back in 1967 and were National League Champions ten years prior to that. As for the Poole Pirates, they have won the Elite League Championship no less than four times, the most recent in 2011, but also in 2003 and 2004, and then again in 2008.

The two teams that are competing this week are actually the top two teams in the standings right now. Poole takes the top spot with 46 points, while Swindon comes in at second with 42. We have East Bourne taking the third spot, and the Lakeside Hammers take fourth in the standings with 32 points. Kings Lynn and Birmingham will be fifth and sixth and then Peterborough is in seventh place. Coventry takes eighth with eighteen points and Wolverhampton has moved down to ninth with just sixteen points. Belle Vue is in tenth with 4 points.

This week in the Elite League Speedway, the Wolverhampton Wolves will face off against the Birmingham Brummies. This match happens at Ladbroke Stadium and the Wolves have taken two Elite League Championships in the past, winning in 2002 and then more recently in 2009. They have been Premier League KO Cup winners once as well. As for the Brummies, they have never won an Elite League Championship, but they have been National League Champions once and British League Division Two Champions once.

Poole leads the standings right now with 36 points followed by the Swindon Robins in second with 30. The Lakeside Hammers are the third team on the table followed by Eastbourne. Then, we come to our first competitor this week, the Birmingham Brummies, who take fifth right now with 19 points, and are tied with King's Lynn in sixth. Peterborough comes in next at seventh with 17 and then our other competitor this week has the eighth spot with 12 points. Coventry is in ninth with 10 points and Belle Vue has four and 10th place.

This week in the Elite League Speedway 2012, the Eastbourne Eagles and the Lakeside Hammers go head to head in Arlington Stadium. The Hammers have the advantage in this match-up, based upon the history of it this year. They won both matches that have been played previously, a home match and an away match. The Eastbourne Eagles have been Elite League Champions twice before, the most recent in 2000 and then in 1995 before that. As for the Lakeside Hammers, the highest honor that they have won was Premier League Champion in 1991.

Right now, Poole take the top spot in the standings with 32 points. Swindon comes in second with 27 and then Lakeside, one of our competitors this week, will be in the third placed spot with 25 points. Birmingham is fourth with 19 points, and is tied with our other competitor, Eastbourne, who also currently have 19 points. After that we have King's Lynn in sixth place with sixteen points and Peterborough is in seventh with fourteen. The rest of the standings have Wolverhampton in 8th, Coventry in 9th and Belle Vue in 10th place.

On the Elite League Speedway calendar this week, Kings Lynn and Swindon facing off at the Norfolk Arena. This will be a replay of a match last season, in which the King's Lynn team beat the Swindon Robins 58 to 37. The Swindon Robins have won the British League Championship just once in 1967, but in 2008 they were the Elite Shield Winners and in 2004 and 2005 were Elite League Pairs Champions. King's Lynn won the Elite League K.O. Cup in 2000 and were Premier League Champions in 2006 and 2009.

In the Elite League Speedway this week, we have the Peterborough Panthers going head to head with the Lakeside Hammers. The venue is the East of England Showground and right now, Peterborough is sitting on two Elite League titles, one of them earned in 1999 and the other in 2006. They have also been Elite League K.O. Cup winners twice. The Lakeside Hammers have a relatively poor record next to Peterborough. They have never won an Elite League Championship, but won the Premier League, Premier League Four Team and Premier League KO Cup in 1991.

Right now the Poole Pirates are leading the Elite League Table. They have their spot secure with 28 points, five more than their closest competitor, the Lakeside Hammers. Swindon comes in at third on the table, followed by Eastbourne. After that, we have Birmingham and Peterborough, our other team in this match, comes in at sixth place. As for the rest of the table, King's Lynn comes in seventh, right now with eleven points followed by Wolverhampton with nine, Coventry and Belle Vue. Belle Vue has no points whatsoever right now.

This week in the Elite League Speedway, Wolverhampton takes on Peterborough and the Coventry Bees will play the Birmingham Brummies at Brandon Stadium. This sport was established in 1997 and right now the current champions are the Poole Pirates, winning last year's Elite League. There are nine other teams in the championship besides Poole, but the Pirates have also won the most championships out of any other team with four. The Elite League is the highest level of speedway competition in the United Kingdom.

Right now, the Poole Pirates will take the top spot in this year's Elite League Speedway Championship. They have twenty one points right now and have one point more than their closest competitors, the Lakeside Hammers. The Eastbourne Eagles come in at third with nineteen points and then Swindon and Peterborough take fourth and fifth place with fifteen and twelve points respectively. King's Lynn comes in at sixth, Birmingham takes seventh and then Coventry and Wolverhampton are eighth and ninth. Belle Vue takes the last spot.

The Poole Pirates take on the Petersborough Panthers this week in the Elite League Speedway. We normally see these events on Monday, but this week, our Elite League match-up is on Wednesday. The Pirates have been Elite League Champions no less than four times. The first time that they took the crown was in 2003, and then they did it again in 2004. They were Elite League Champions in 2006 and in 2011 as well. As for the Panthers, they have been Elite League Champions just twice before. The most recent was in 2006 and then also in 1999.

Right now, the Lakeside Hammers take the top spot in the Elite League Speedway. They have twenty points right now and take the first spot on the Elite League Speedway table. They are followed by Eastbourne in second place and the Poole Pirates in third. In fourth and fifth place right now we have the Swindon Robins, with the Pirates' opponents this week, the Peterborough Panthers in fifth place right now. Birmingham, Coventry and King's Lynn come in next, and the last two teams on the table are the Wolverhampton Wolves and the Belle Vue Aces.

The Elite League Speedway sees the teams of Poole and Swindon face off, in the number one Speedway competition in the UK. The Poole Pirates have an impressive record since they have been in business. They have been able to win the Elite League Championship three times, two of them back to back. The years that they won were 2003, 2004 and 2008. As for the Swindon Speedway Team, they have been around since 1949, but have not yet been able to take home an Elite League Championship. However, they did win British League Champions once in 1967.

Right now on the Elite League Speedway Table, the Lakeside Hammers take the top spot with 13 points. However, they are tied with Eastbourne in second and have two teams creeping up on them quickly, the Swindon Robins and the Poole Pirates. King's Lynn comes ini at fifth right now with eight points and then Coventry is seventh. We find Wolverhampton as the next team in the rankings, coming in at eighth and taking six points and then Birmingham comes in at 9th. In tenth place is Belle Vue, currently with no points.

The Elite League Speedway this week will feature the Wolverhampton Wolves versus the Poole Pirates at Monmore Green. The driver who hold the record for this venue is Fredrik Lindgren. The Wolverhampton Wolves have won the Elite League Crown just twice in the past. The first time was in 2002 and then they took it more recent in 2009 as well. On Monday, April 23td, the Elite League Speedway sees the teams of Belle Vue v Eastbourne face off in the Elite League Speedway competition. The Belle Vue Aces have never been Elite League Speedway Champions but they have won the Elite League Pairs Champions once, in 2006. They have five wins in the category of British League Champions and have been Knockout Cup winners four times. The Eastbourne Eagles have less overall honors, but they have been Elite League Champions twice, once in 1995 and once in 2000.

We have a lot of action happening in this week's Elite League Speedway as the new season starts up and the combination of football and motorsport once again attracts fans from all around the world. The Elite is the top tier of these events, featuring the most skillWholled athletes and the most exciting matches. This week, Wolverhampton and Belle Vue face off in the Elite League, the only EL match happening this week, Birmingham v Wolves and it wil be played on Tuesday, April 10th. Also there are LC matches like Rye House and Leicester and Scunthorpe and Sheffield.
