Indy Grand Prix Mid Ohio Live

Sunday, August 5^th, the Indy Car Series continues with the Indy Grand Prix Mid Ohio Live, officially called the Honda Indy 200. This event will start at 1:00PM Eastern on the day of the race and will be at the Mid Ohio Circuit. The following event will be GoPro Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma, held in Sonoma, California, on August 26^th at 4:30PM. After that, the series will have a race staged in Baltimore, Maryland that is called the Grand Prix of Baltimore. Following that event will be the race at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

The most recent event on the calendar was the Edmonton Indy, held in Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. That race was held on the 22^nd of July, and it was won by Helio Castroneves. Takuma Sato came in second and the third placed driver was Will Power. Right now, the top driver in the standings is Ryan Hunter-Reay, who has 362 points and has led for 139 laps so far this season. Helio Castroneves is in second with 339 and has 263 laps led while Will Power comes in at third. The fourth and fifth drivers in the standings are Scott Dixon and James Hinchcliffe.
