Auto GP World Series Live

The second to the last event on the Auto GP World Series calendar happens this week, and it is in Curtiba. This race is to be held on the 22^nd of July, and it is going to be the sixth event of the year for the Auto GP World Series. The finale will be held in two months in Sonoma, on the 23^rd of September. The most recent event that was held was on the 3^rd of June and it was in Portimao. The series started out the 2012 season in Monza, with a race on the 11^th of March and then went onto Valencia, Marrakeck, and then the Hungaroring.

Right now in the stnadings, Adrian Quaife-Hobbs with SuperNova International takes first place with 196 points. Pal Varhaug with Virtuosi UK is second with 123. Third is Sergey Sirotkin and fourth is Chris van der Drift with Manor MP Motorsport. Facu Regalia with Campos Racing takes the fifth spot with just 68 points. In the team standings right now, SuperNova International comes in first with 242 points, while Manor MP Motorsport takes the second spot with 155 points. In third, we have Euronova Racing with 140 points.

The Auto GP World Series is going to be racing in Hungaroring, Hungary, on May 6^th for the fourth round of the series, and this will be a supporting race for the FIA World Touring Car Championship which is also held at that circuit this week. The series will next head to Portugal and then only two races are left, one in Brazil and the last in the United States. The previous race was in Morocco on the Marrakech Street Circuit and it was won by Sergio Campana of Team MLR71 and Chris Van der Drift of Manor MP Motorsport.

Adrian Quaife Hobbs is the top driver in the standings right now with 105 points, followed by Sergey Sirotkin with 76. Pal Varhaug is next, followed by Chris van der Drift and Daniel de Jong. Sergio Campana takes sixth place with 39 points and the rest of the top then are Giacomo Ricci, Facundo Regalia, Max Snegirev and Antonio Spavone. The Auto GP World Series will head to the Marrakech Street Circuit in Morocco, on April 15^th. This will be the 3^rd racfe of the year for the series, with Sergey Sirotkiun and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs winning the last year held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. Pal Varhaug won the second round for Virtuosi UK back in March in Monza, and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs took Round One for Super Nove International. The next race on the calender is scheduled for May 6^th and it will be held in Hungaroring, Hungary.

Right now in the Auto GP World Series driver's championship, Adrian Quaife-Hobbs comes in first with 77 points with Pal Varhaug in second with 56. Sergey Sirotkin takes third place with 51 points while Chis van der Drift comes in fourth with 37, tied with the fifth place driver Daniel de Jong who has the same number of points. The very first Auto GP World Series of 2012 will be held this week. It looks like British driver Adrian Quaife-Hobbs will be taking pole for this racing event. This series started back in 1999 and has gone by different names throughout its existence, including the Italian Formula 3000 and the EuroSeries 3000. This racing event has 16 drivers that are split up among eight teams. Last year, Kevin Ceccon took the win for DAMS and the year before that it was Romain Grosjean for DAMS.

The positions right now have Adrian Quaife-Hobbs with Super Nova International in the pole position with Sergey Sirotkin with Euronova Racing in second. Sergio Campana is third on the list and Pal Varhaugh is fourth. Others in the first ten include Chris Van Der Drift, Victor Guerin, Antonio Spavone and Facundo Regalia and then Giacomo Ricci.
