On the NASCAR Sprint Cup this week, a race in Homestead Miami in Florida called the Ford EcoBoost 400, which is the 36th race of the year and is scheduled to be held at 2:00PM Eastern Time. The most recent race on the Sprint Cup calendar was the November 11th event in Phoenix, Arizona that was won by Kevin Harvick. Before that, Jimmie Johnson won the race in Texas and that was held on November 4th. October 28th, Martinsville was the location of the that race, which was also won by Jimmie Johnson.
Matt Kenseth won the race before that in Kansas and then it was Clint Bowyer who took the race on October 13th in Charlotte. Matt Kenseth was once again the winner of the Talladega race on October 7th. Right now the standings heading into the big race show that Brad Keselowski is the big leader with 20 points up on his closest competitor, which happens to be Jimmie Johnson. Kasey Kahne comes in third with 2,321 points and then Clint Bowyer will take the fourth spot on the standings, and Denny Hamlin comes in at fifth.
