NASCAR Nationwide Series STP 300 Live

On the NASCAR Nationwide Series this week, the STP 300 will be held at the Chicagoland Speedway. The Sprint Cup Series is taking a week off, but will return next week. This race will be the 18^th of the year for the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and it will be held on July 22^nd at 2:00PM. Upcoming races for this series include Indianapolis on July 28^th for the Indy 250 and then onto Iowa for the US Cellular 250 held on the 4^th of August. Finally, the Zippo 200 at the Glen is to be held at the Watkins Glen track on August 11^th.

The most recent race on the Nationwide Series calendar was the Loudon event on July 14^th, won by Brad Keselowski. Before that, Kurt Busch won in Daytona and other recent winners have include Austin Dillon and Nelson Piquet Jr. Right now, Elliott Sadler leads the standings with 628 points while Austin Dillon comes in second with 625 and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. takes third with 612 points. Sam Hornish Jr. comes in at fourth place with 596 and Justin Allgaier is in fifth right now. Others in the top ten include Michael Annett, Cole Whitt, Mike Bliss, Danica Patrick and Brian Scott.
