NASCAR Nationwide Series Food City 250 Live

On the NASCAR Nationwide Circuit this week, the Food City 250 Live will be held, starting on the 24^th of August at 7:00PM. This event happens in Bristol, Tennessee, and it is the 23^rd race of the year for the Nationwide Series. It will be followed by an event in Atlanta that is called the NRA American Warrior 300, which happens on September 1^st at 6:30PM, and then it will be onto Richmond for the Virginia 529 College Savings on September 7^th. After that, the Dollar General 300 will be held in Chicago on September 15^th.

The most recent race on the NASCAR Nationwide Series calendar was the August 18^th event in Montreal that was won by Justin Allgaier. Sam Hornish Jr. came in second at that race and Jacques Villeneuve was third. Fourth was Elliott Sadler and then Ron Fellows was the fifth placed driver. In the Nationwide Series standings, Elliott Sadler takes the top spot with 824 points while Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Sam Hornish Jr. are tied in second and third place with 802 points each, which is 22 down from the leader. Austin Dillon and Justin Allgaier take fourth and fifth.
