The NASCAR Nationwide Series will be holding the Drive4COPD 300 this week, as the first race of the brand new Nationwide Series calendar. This event is going to happen on Saturday, February 23rd at 1:00PM Eastern Time, and it happens at the Daytona International Speedway, which means that the Sprint Cup will join the Nationwide Series this week. The next event on the calender will be the Dollar General 200 Fueled by Amerigas, which is set to be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 4:30PM Eastern at the Phoenix International Raceway.
The results from the Ford Ecoboost 300, which was held on November 17th, saw Regan Smith take the first place spot, and Kyle Busch come in second. Brendan Gaughan took third place and Sam Hornish was fourth, with Austin Dillon in fifth. As for the actual standings in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, we have Ricky Stenhouse Jr. taking the top spot right now, followed by Elliott Sadler in second. Austin Dillon will be the third placed driver on the table and then Sam Hornish Jr. comes in at fourth, followed by Michael Annett.
