The third year of the FIA GP3 series is upon us and now the series will head to Budapest for the next event on the calendar. The Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary is the circuit and the race dates will be from the 28th to the 29th of July, and will be the sixth race of the year for the series. There are only two races to go after this one, the Belgian Grand Prix, which happens at the Spa Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium and then the Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Nazionale in Monza, Italy from the 8th to the 9th of September.

The last race was at the Hockenheimring, with Daniel Abt taking the Pole Position and Patric Niederhauser winning the race for Jenzer Motorsport. The current leader of the standings right now is Mitch Evans, followed by Aaro Vanio in second place and they have 121 and 103 points. Daniel Abt is in third place with 76 points, while Patric Niederhauser comes in fourth with 75 points and Conor Daily is in fifth place right now. The rest in the top ten include Matthias Laine, Antonio Felix da Costa and Tio Elinas.
