GP2 Series Silverstone Great Britain Live

The GP2 Series Silverstone will join the Formula One Championship this week at the world famous track in Silverstone, in Great Britain. The race will be 5.891 kilometers, and the first race consists of 29 laps while the second has 21 laps. The race will be July 6^th through the 8^th and it is the seventh event of the year for this series. Coming up, an event in Hockenheim will be held from July 20^th to the 22^nd and then they will be onto Budapest for a race July 27^th through the 29^th. Others include Spa Francorchamps, Monza and Singapore.

The top driver in the GP2 series right now is Davide Valsecchi, sitting in first place in the standings with 141 points. With just one less point, and in second is Luiz Razia. The third placed driver with 95 points right now is James Calado with Lotus and Max Chilton with Carlin comes in fourth with 93 points. In fifth is Giedo Van Der Garde with 89 points. Nex, sixth placed Esteban Guitierrez with 87 points and Fabio Leimer comes in next with 65. In eight and ninth Marcus Ericsson and Nathanial Berthon with Johnny Cecotto in tenth.
